I waited this review until it was actually tested. We have about 3 weeks and my child feels comfortable in it. My child is 5ft 2in, weighs 110lbs, we ordered medium. The leg room was too big for my kid but he wears cycling shorts and will definitely grow up in them. I throw them in the washer and dryer (low) and so far so good. I will definitely buy them again.

I've had this pair and the 'retro' pair for about 1 1/2 years, still looks good, no problems. I wear it all the time, once or twice a week. I machine wash (gentle/cold) and hang dry at least once a week. Still look new. This pair has a lining on the inside of the legs where the 'star and the letter A' is located and it comes untied. Nice lightweight feel and fit. Matching Muay Thai style shorts are difficult to find due to their large number and types. Many of Thailand's traditional shorts are designed for small bodies, which is understandable. Many westerners will need to look for a size XXXl or larger to accommodate our different body sizes and shapes. Fit: I followed the sizing guide and found it to be comfortable around the waist and maybe a little big in length and 'curvature'. I have to wear them waist down once, which I have to do with almost all of my other muay thai shorts.
