Unfortunately this product stops my dog for a few minutes while it dries but once it dries he immediately starts chewing on the item I sprayed again. The smell is awful when you first spray it, but it goes away after the spray dries. I gave it 3 stars because it will hold them back for a while, but it's not a permanent solution.

This product kept my dog from carpet licking for a while but it smells awful and is very uncomfortable being where it was only recently sprayed. By the time it's no longer noticeable since it's near where it was sprayed, my dog goes back to licking the carpet. I won't buy again, maybe better suited for chewing that hasn't become a habit yet.

**update** The company contacted me about my experience with the product. Offered to find me another product to try for free and refunded my anti chew products as well ** Although my experience with this product may not have been the best - their customer service is excellent! I bought this product based on the reviews. I sprayed it on furniture, clothes and his leash. My puppy doesn't care about the taste and seems to lick it off. It leaves a very strong smell, it even gets stuck in my throat and I start coughing. Be sure to spray outside. While the idea is good, it didn't work at all for my dog. I upgraded to 3 stars because of the great customer service and product refund. I appreciate that very much.

Received the product today and immediately sprayed it on outdoor railings because my 10 month old Lab/Doodle chews on it and causes damage. Well, "Jack" curiously followed me outside and watched as I sprayed the product on some of the rails. Guess what? He sniffed hard and started chewing with relish! It was more of a softener than a deterrent. I ordered it because of the good rating; don't make the same mistake. Would have given zero stars if allowed.

I'm not 100% sure if it works (on a dog) but I've had the pleasure (insert sarcasm) of trying the product on myself because the bottle has no cap and Packaging and bottle arrived were covered products. I've washed my hands several times and it still hasn't come out. How do I know, well. I bite my nails. I wanted to do my thing and it was literally the most unpleasant taste I've ever had in my mouth. So thanks the product is as disgusting as advertised please work on shipping. Most companies…
