Push the pin with a screwdriver and pull out with pliers to loosen the spring (make sure to point away from you as the springs are strong ). It's solid hardware, looks good, is of very good quality and the smaller dividers allowed us to get creative.

Long, sturdy dividers perfectly separate all my kitchen utensils. Shorter delimiters aren't very secure, but still provide smaller sections. Definitely recommend. Use an ice pick to knock out the pin to open it, but be careful it stings, so make sure it's not pointed at you.

This is really nice. They are held in place by a very strong spring, but if you have cheap Ikea drawers (and I'm sure other chipboard backs exist), the spring is so strong that it will warp the back of the drawer and you they can't close. I had to return mine as they don't work where I need them, but if you have solid wood drawers that would be great.

These drawer dividers are a good idea, but they look pretty flimsy. The spring loaded ones will flex slightly to the side if you hold them out of alignment. They are just the right length to divide your drawers lengthways, but are too long to work with most wide drawers. The little rectangles are meant to help divide crates into smaller sections, but that sucks. I've tried squeezing them several times but they are useless and won't get up. It would be nice if they had some sort of cocking…
