💻 Antrader Black Metal Wire Cable Grommet Hole Cover - 160mm Length for Computer Desk Table Review

I am building a new desk and have to deal with a lot of cables that a standard 2" desk hub wouldn't be able to route like I found that and although the metal is good and well made I found 2 pins on my cap were gone, sent the first one back for a new one and the next time I only got one with a pin which didn't matter based on how many times it ever opens, maybe a few times every few years, i thought it would be ok, i paid about $20, i wish it was actually fully functional.

I use it to route power and signal cables to a home cinema projector. It will be mounted to a vertical ceiling so I'll have to drill a few holes to attach it, but that's what I expected. The finish is a very nice black anodized aluminum so I'm guessing the silver is clean anodized. Much better quality than I expected. I'm a big fan of hiding cords! I'm the guy who ties everything together and does the velcro. When my desk came in and we installed it, all the cords dangling from the front drove me CRAZY! Then I found this gem! Now I don't need USB extenders so I need even fewer cables to get frustrated! Now all I have to do is organize them under my desk and they're worth their weight in gold! The grommet was a really great way to tidy up our podcast studio and give it a professional look. The cables are routed under the table and no longer run over the table top. Easy to install, lightweight, durable aluminum construction. Excellent value for money and quality.

I used this on the back of a built-in desk to route computer cables. The worst part was cutting a hole in the table but it all worked out.

It felt very light and cheap. So much so that I've decided not to install it. It was also not possible to fix it in the opening. A clamp or set screw would be nice. Can't give 1 star as it came as pictured but it left a lot to be desired.
