Works great with Comcast/xfinity. The same splitter they use.

Suitable for Comcast/xfinity WiFi connection. The same splitter they use. I connected the 7dB output to the main TV and WiFi, the 3dB output for the bedroom TV as there is no DVR box.

Exact Replacement in Splitters

These are exactly the same as those used by my cable provider's field technicians. If they have to come to my house for a service call and see a different type of splinter, they focus on the fact that it is a problem when it may not be. Using the same splitter they are using will fix this situation and they can focus on further troubleshooting for other reasons. In plain language, if they use the same as her, they will be discouraged from pointing the finger at him.

Best Replacement Splitters (Cablevision/Altice)

These are the same splitters that Altice (the cable company) uses. They provided us with a 4-way splitter when installing, but it was clear that the cable box with built-in cable modem needed a stronger split. A 3 way signal gives a stronger output and I bought a 2 way splitter separately to split one of the lower powered splitters into 2 less important connections. This helped fix some of the regular internet outages we had.

Pros
  • Splitters
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
