Best ham DMR for the money!

I've used almost every ham DMR available. This is by far the best value for money you can get. The radio is Part 90 certified and therefore sufficient for commercial use. I also have the most useful functions for radio amateurs, such as B. the promiscuous mode. Great sound, great battery life, free software, seriously not to like. Just get it.

Mixed feelings! the best among CB and talkback radios

They are advertised as the best for DMR. That's why I invested in two of them. Please note that this is a Chinese radio just like everyone else. When you buy a DMR radio, you know what features you need and buy based on your needs, not what everyone else is raving about. They are grossly overpriced and I could have bought more others with the money I spent. DMR programming can be a nightmare, which is why so many companies use it to make money for location-dependent people. Not a perfect…

It just doesn't cut analog.

There is no DMR here but because of the great display, good looks and my own curiosity I had to try one. I have dozens of radios - Baofeng, TYT, Radioddity, you name it. Anytone is consistently the worst analogue radio I've tried and they're all the same - tried 3 of them. Weaker signals just won't open the squelch, and I tested all the squelch sensitivity settings in test mode. No dice - perfectly legible signals won't let through while my $20 baofeng revolves around it. It's a good radio, but

Dandy radio. You must understand how to program it!

Bouncer I think I'm a wonderful little radio! If you are new to DMR radio, I strongly recommend that you spend some time watching YouTube videos or any other resources you can find to understand how to program this radio, otherwise you will be disappointed. Bridgecom has an entire library of videos to help you better understand how to operate this radio. This is not a regular radio that you turn on and start talking. DMR requires you to do a bit of programming, something called a hey code…

Great radio!

When I picked up this radio, it seemed to me that it was a high-quality device. The screen is bright in all conditions and full of information in DMR mode. The sound is very LOUD but can be a bit harsh at times, especially if you are surprised by the volume setting. BridgeCom Systems supports the product well and the radio has proven to be relatively easy to program with the CPS software. I've programmed my radio (code plugged in) with "zones" for DMR talkgroups, local DMR repeaters (there are…

Believe in Portable Audio/Video Advertising

This is a great DMR and analog transmitter. Don't be intimidated by programming unless you like very basic radios. This ht is highly customizable and if you like crafting then this is the way to go. Pros: Highly customizable Fairly light for battery size and life Excellent transmit and receive clarity Powerful speaker Software can be imported from other devices Easy switching between zones and channel boards Cons: Programs with custom cable, not USB like Alinco. The battery is large, making the

Quality radio despite being Chinese

Good to get into DMR you need to learn. Learning how to write plugin code can be frustrating, but there are some good YouTube videos to help you with it. Don't even think about programming it from the keyboard. Get the software, it's free and actually pretty good. It really helps to get a "hot spot" but then you have to program it. YouTube again. It's the radio itself. This is a very good setting and it works very well. The battery life is excellent, the speaker quality is excellent and looks…

Nothing for beginners best at CB & Radios

I'm new to Ham. I'm tech savvy, I'm a great troubleshooter, I can write VBA macros on demand so there aren't many technical things I can't figure out. I can't get this radio to work. I checked all the settings, tried multiple frequencies and repeaters, watched countless videos and even called Bridgecom support. I can't make contact. Bridgecom's instructions and course start with programming code insertions that shouldn't be required for simple analogue communications, but nobody seems to be…
