AO Coolers Backpack High Density Insulation Review

I use it to take drinks to the beach and it keeps ice for hours. It can't hold ice during the day but I don't go camping so for the price it's great for daytime cooling. Perfect size and easy to carry.

I was really wondering if this would work in Arizona with our weather of 112 and today's 115 degrees. Due to Covid I left my lunch here with blocks of ice. Even when I left at 4:00 p.m., the blocks of ice had only melted slightly. Really works!

This is the perfect cooler for the beach, boat or parties. The backpack function is useful when your hands are full, but still has a shoulder strap if you wish. The height is perfect for carrying bottles of wine and some snacks to a party or picnic. AO coolers are high quality but not ridiculously expensive. I'm looking at you Yeti.

My husband carries this bag to work every day. He works outdoors all day, and this refrigerator keeps his water and lunch cool even in the sweltering hot summers of the southern United States. The canvas has held up well and has not ripped or torn despite throwing. The inside is easy to clean and the zipper is very strong. I assume this will continue for a long time.

The ice cream doesn't last more than a few hours in the fridge and it's not that hot outside. The plastic hinges on the radiator broke, which made it significantly more difficult to use. I will never buy this product again. My $15 Walmart cooler held the ice much longer than this cooler. On a 95 degree day there was some ice left in the 8 pack Walmart fridge where all the water from the ice melting was.

This is my third AO and I like it very much. The food stays cold all day, but I don't eat it in the sun. My use is indoors only. I like the 18 pack as it fits down the aisle of the plane when attached to my trolley bag. However, I would like it to be in black water-resistant fabric. This would make it ideal for large numbers of flight crews.

Use 5 days a week, fill with ice. No leaks or breaks like others I've had. Almost a year still works great. The liner is very thick, keeps my drinks cold. It has plenty of room in the pocket for all my chargers, goggles, groceries, gloves etc. I've had several other brands and they either started leaking, condensing and the straps broke on me within six months. Well made bag.

I've heard about AO's quality insulated coolers and how they keep the ice and contents cold. I'm an inshore fisherman and I spend my days in the hot Hawaiian sun making my way to the ocean reef or fishing from the shore. I've tried many "other" cold packs and I have to say that the AO (18can) cold pack is the best insulated cold pack I've ever had.
