Excellent rope for the price

I bought this rope a few months ago and am very happy with it. I've read various complaints about rope smell and fiber loss. Yes, it smells, but it's okay. I didn't notice a lot of loose fibers. The bottom line is that this is a climbing rope. It does the job and is pretty decently priced, so who cares if your hands get a little smelly after climbing? Just wash your hands after you're done. Boom, problem solved.

Decent garage gym rope

Sturdy hook and length just right for my garage gym. Not sure about the strong smell mentioned in other reviews. Shedding like crazy - splinters!

Terrible rope. It scatters shards on clothing and gets caught in hands, which require tweezers and needles to pull it out. Also adheres to dry-fit clothing commonly used in leotards, CrossFit and any athletic apparel. I was hoping that in a month it would stop shedding so much. HORRIBLE - would not recommend at all. We were very excited as our whole family uses it, but we were terribly disappointed. I chose only one star because at least one star is required. But doesn't deserve a star.
