UPDATE 7 months later and it no longer latches on the right side. I have to hold it very tightly so that it starts blowing air out of the bag. Even if there is liquid in the bag, it will be sucked out but not sealed. So far, so good. You need a lot more pressure to close this than other machines. This purchase came with 2 size bags but the smaller bags were MUCH small. As if nobody had to use bags of this size

Update: After a few weeks of use the original sealant stopped sucking and sealing before all the air was removed. I spoke to Revain and was given an option to replace or refund the item and was told that the return rate for this item is extremely low. I decided to replace it with the same one that arrived a few days later. I wrapped up the broken one and took it to the UPS store. Easy hassle free returns. I was looking for an inexpensive vacuum sealer for home use. I wanted to seal bags and also be able to vacuum dry materials in Mason jars (like I've done with Foodsaver sealers in the past).
