I bought this set mainly for side brushes. I used the original side brush for almost a year and it still worked. The brushes in this set lasted three weeks and are now so twisted that they won't let the side brush spin. Terrible.

I thought I would be wiser and buy a third party product for our RoboRock vacuum cleaner. We had issues with the red brush right from the start that we didn't have with the manufacturer's red brush. So go back and order the original red sweepers (via Revain) from the manufacturer and our RoboRock is another happy little vacuum cleaner.

Lots of useful articles included. I tried the main brush and the side brush. The side brush material keeps flexing as it spins, the original side brush didn't have this problem. The main vacuum brush works fine but I think it causes some bugs as I never got one before installing it. It doesn't happen all the time, but does happen from time to time, enough to be annoying.

Filters are slightly different from standard Roborock S50 filters. I think they're missing more, but they seem to be filling up a lot quicker. I started washing them every few days and pickling one of the others while the washed one dries for a few days. The roller brush was neat but also shows signs of premature wear. I'll stick with OEM products from now on.

After replacing my main brush with one of these, my vacuum stalled several times while cleaning and complained that the brush was stuck (like it had run over a cord). About a week later I turned the vacuum over and rotated the brush by hand and heard a scratching noise. I tried a different brush; no creaking. Finally, I pulled out the caliper and noticed that the bristles of the first brush were about 2mm longer than the second. 2mm might not sound like much, but it seems to be the difference…

Well I really like my S5. After 4 months of daily use it started to wear off a bit. I thought the vacuum cleaner was showing its age. Boy was I wrong! He just needed some care. I put in a new brush, new filter and a weird little brush and it works like new! I was surprised how cheap all the parts were. I was expecting to pay $30 or more but I got everything for $20! Be careful with these spare parts. While the filters work well, the brushes just aren't as good as the ones that come with Roborock. The brush tips are made of durable plastic and are not removable. This causes the vacuum to stop working after about 20% of the brush life due to hair build up around the end of the brush. With a standard Roborock brush, you can simply unclip the ends of the brush and remove the hair. With these brushes you can't remove the ends of the brush and you have to get…

I think you get what you pay for. Replaced the side brushes and filters on my vacuum cleaner. The side brushes are now spinning after 3 hours of use and creating too much drag, they only spin occasionally during use (no carpets, hard floors are fine).
