This was exactly what we needed to replace the gasket on our camper van. Only negative was that we couldn't get it in a smaller role either. We only needed a slightly larger roll size and had to order two to make it enough so we have a lot of leftovers now.

I needed to replace the seal on top of the main rail on our 2013 Rockwood Travel Trailer. I took off the old spacer, cleaned the rail, trimmed it a little longer than needed, and stuck it all the way in at one end. It was easy. Once it was in place I cut it off and then used cabinet screws on each end to hold it in place.

Was a lot cheaper than the RV store that offered 50ft of product (the only option, way more than we needed). I thought it might be too big, but if it was a little tighter it wouldn't be difficult to slide all the way. Easy to install after removing the old sealant. Staked like an old piece that we replaced, I'm sure everything will be fine.

You can do it yourself. It takes time to remove and clean up the original, but you're not paying hundreds to have someone else do it. Stable work about 4 hours to clean the old one, 30~40 minutes to install 13 feet on top and 6.5 on side. Tomorrow I'll seal the tip. Cuts and slides down the old trail with ease. Will order again when the second note needs it.

A poorly written description doesn't tell you how long the material is and you have customers asking how long it is and other customers asking the wrong one Give answers and no one bothers to correct the information. The product description will list the adhesive backing and the size 18 x 18 x 8 inches when the product has no adhesive backing and is 1 x 3/4 x 50 inches. The product doesn't appear to be the highest quality but if your seals are in bad shape it's definitely an improvement.

The seal was a perfect replacement for the original "D" seal that came on my 2016 Forest River Wildwood -Slide fell apart. The fit was perfect and was easy to install after removing and cleaning the sticky, crumbling old gasket. This is the same AP branded product that local van shops use to replace "D" seals. I am very happy with the product and the packaging (comes in a reasonably sized box, strong enough to protect the seal during transit).

We bought a used 2011 fifth wheel wheel in 2015. At this point the sealant was sticky/tacky/dry rot. We replaced it with this seal in April 2015. Therefore I give 2 stars. It was an exact replacement, easy to install and didn't require a call to the dealer. During routine roof maintenance, I've noticed that this seal is sticky/tacky/dry. It looks like it needs to be replaced again. Pooh! We have had a slide bumper hitch (and bought used) for over 7 years. We never had to change a filling.

The item was well packaged and shipped very quickly, thanks! However, this product does not correspond exactly to the original that has been sold the most, it is a counterfeit. The size and shape are very close to the stated measurements, slightly smaller in all directions. The main issue is the "thickness" of the rubber in the "bulb" area, 1/2 the thickness of the original. This results in "much" less seal pressure and most likely a shorter lifespan. It's working for now, but I can already see
