Not Working: EGR Valves

After replacing the EGR valve, the car sputtered, took it to a diesel mechanic who charged $541 to replace it with a Ford EGR valve. I do not recommend this product.

The price is nice but you have to work

The part is not compatible with 2004 6.0. I drove the truck to the shop where they installed it. The engine would not idle for ten seconds before stalling. The check engine light came on. Egr error code. Old things on and off home. Good price but should it work as advertised 2003-2010?

Correction "EGR is not complete "

Arrived on time. Install my 05 6.0 PSD. (Note: Make sure you wire brush the inside where the EGR valve seals line up and lubricate everything with oil before installing. It's stuck.) I couldn't get through because the EGR wasn't working properly, but after I installed it and drove a few days, finally completed the drive cycle and drove.

. Came out fine and started acting weird after a few days so I pulled it out and the inner o-ring.

Eventually I put this in and it didn't fit very well even after cleaning the hole well and after a few days it started acting weird so I pulled it out and the inner o-ring fell apart. I probably just got a bad one, but having fit and failure issues with IMON is an expensive part. Now consider, I had no problems with this company, I got this part, it sat on the shelf for a year and then I used it. I have never contacted them to tell them what happened and have no intention of doing so please…
