How do I like it after 1 year?

I don't like it at all. I LOVE IT! This is by far one of the best purchases I've made for our home. Before we had this reverse osmosis system, our tap water was terrible. Shortly after we moved into this house and realized how bad the water tasted, we went down the bottled water path. We have been buying bottled water for 9 years. Easily consumes at least 8 bottles per month and eventually reached 13 bottles per month. That's anywhere from $60 to just under $100 a month for bottled water! Even…

Pros
  • High quality pressure tight quick connectors do not require additional locking clips to seal leaks - no need to rely on a water leak detector to protect your home like other brands. Comes with all parts plus industry leading instructions and videos for easy DIY.
Cons
  • No

Of course I have some DIY experience, but compared to other water filtration systems I've installed (Jacuzzi, AO Smith) this was the easiest. Instructions are clear and detailed. Another note on the plumbing/setup part that I liked: the hot tub system I had previously required you to run the faucet for 24 hours on first use and with each filter change. . Let me tell you that the sound of a dripping faucet gets pretty annoying after a while! This requires you to fill the tank only once (it took…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Harmless

There is nothing better than pure water, and there is plenty of it!

This is an absolute must have in our miserable time when we're forced to stay at home (forced in a way, but you know what I mean). Considering our setup here was in the office break room but some of us will be buying these for our homes and it also saves us from worrying about finding water in stores when so many hoarders selfishly take all bottles . for yourself. Why bother when you can have unlimited clean water at home without leaving your home to buy more? First, the price for it is pretty…

I have one on every floor!

"Have these on every floor?" Yes. I have three APEC RO filters and love them all. Let me explain: Where I live we have "city water" but it's really a public well. The water here is VERY hard. The last time I tested it for water softener size, I hovered at around 30 grains per gallon (that's about three times what the WQA considers "very hard water"). There are also tons of sediment. At the tap, we're around 600 ppm with my reliable water tester. Not that "I once used a glass I wasn't sure about

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others
