High Quality Product. The hole diameter of this wrench is 3 inches, which is not listed in the product description. Not all membrane filter housings are 3 inch in diameter. Some are 2 3/4" in diameter and may be other sizes. Before ordering, be sure to measure the diameter of the membrane filter housing and make sure the diameter is 3".

So I ordered a pair of standard reverse osmosis membrane housings and this wrench. I first bought this to open my old membrane case, but this wrench should work for my new case as well. So I checked my case and it has 13 lugs, this key has 13 notches. So I figured most of them would be the same diameter, but no, the normal ones are just a bit smaller and slip. I don't blame this key as it is an apec key. But just a warning to those who have bought cheaper reverse osmosis membrane housings, this

It's annoying. I had to purchase this separately instead of including it with my desktop system which I paid over $300 for, but it is what it is. Also, the key doesn't fit snugly in the lid, there's a bit of wiggle room that really shouldn't be there as it's designed to work with the manufacturer's own products.
