I love Apogee Duet. However, they wear out too quickly. Take the switching unit, which, while not fantastic, is far more durable. I don't like that Apogee doesn't give another one under warranty or offer any kind of discount.

Listen, Duet 2 is the best portable audio interface and everyone knows it. I still use my original Duet 2 cable but that's why they designed it that way. So if your cable frays, you only need to replace the $50 cable, not the $600 interface. This and this makes the device much more portable. I like to have one permanently on my desk and one for traveling. If you need a replacement or just want a different one, look no further.
