I have now ordered 4 of these! Each one breaks in connection with the hinge within a day or two. Will finally order the LG APPROVED part.

A cord broke in less than a week. I replaced it with a second cable and luckily it still works. I have one that didn't break. If the next one breaks, I'll swap out the dishwasher.

Product was not original. I replace one loop and it broke after a few dates, then I replace it with a second loop and it broke again after a few dates. Now I have to buy another pair to replace again. One of the ends of the loop has a wrong design. I want my money back.

The original part only lasted 3 years, but far longer than the week this lasted. Luckily there were 2 in the package and I didn't completely reinstall the dishwasher. I will wait a week before installing with a second cable. It also took just a week to upgrade the second cable. Bought OEM and has been working for 2 months

Delivered on time and in good condition. The kit was intended to replace a broken cable (nylon cord snapped) and a worn cable. Easy installation, both installed. I kept an old door cord with a frayed nylon cord just in case. Less than a month after installation, one of the new cables broke, breaking the plastic. I heard a loud bang and my dishwasher door suddenly weighed a ton. This product came quickly, left quickly and works great. The cost is low and I replaced both while the dishwasher was off. Now I can open the door to any angle and it holds that position, lots of tension and counterbalance, better than the stock part that came with it. If your door falls down quickly the existing part will stretch and wear out and I recommend getting a pair as soon as possible as one is a lot easier to replace…
