I heard a loud bang and my dishwasher door suddenly weighed a ton. This product came quickly, left quickly and works great. The cost is low and I replaced both while the dishwasher was off. Now I can open the door to any angle and it holds that position, lots of tension and counterbalance, better than the stock part that came with it. If your door falls down quickly the existing part will stretch and wear out and I recommend getting a pair as soon as possible as one is a lot easier to replace in place than one that has the spring shooting out and you the whole need to take dishwasher out to restore the spring. The update part only lasted 21 months before one of them broke. Would still buy as I'm editing this as I'm ordering another pair.
