I just hooked this thing up and it's great! Super high quality light. The variety of effects is also impressive. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made for my lighting set so far.

I use this more and more often. Light output is excellent. It's nice when your main concern is sculpting and/or softening the light, rather than getting more bang for your buck.

When shooting movies at 100%, the light dims for no reason and returns to full power after a few minutes. It made editing a mess. If I set it to 100% I expect it to stay at 100% without falling. I've 100% tried this on every setting and it's the same across the board.

There are so many features that make this light incredible. It's really bright, works with V-mount batteries, is lightweight, very durable and puts out great light! Aputure is ahead of its time and I can't wait for them to continue offering quality products at affordable prices.

I mean you know why you're here. The others couldn't justify the performance, you knew you should have collapsed the first time and spent the money here. Now you've spent $200 on other junk fakes that don't fit. Stop thinking about it, do it like a band-aid and do it fast so you can recover financially lol. Great quality and everything. Make sure you have a solid footing for this as the setup is heavy.

There are some very nice improvements over the first lamp. Firstly, there is no extra box for power line, I think everything is built into the main box now. The new tilting handle makes it stable when standing on the stand. I don't see the extra 25% power to be honest. It's almost identical to the first. What is missing is an umbrella holder. Without a doubt, this is the most versatile and reliable light source for video recording. I couldn't imagine making a video without one of them!

Significant improvement over the first version with terminal block and one control unit instead of two. The fans are quiet and rotate in the opposite direction. Bright enough as a key even after being scattered (depending on the space and number of people you are lighting). Very good color rendering.
