was very happy with the product. have a live aquarium for large baits (300 gallons). and it works great. been using it for a few months.

Worked great for my canister filter in my 75 gallon fresh water tank. It works really well and is a lot less expensive than pre-cut media.

There is a lot of filter material here. I've found it useful as an occasional replacement for a certain brand of much more expensive filter cartridges. Simply cut and glue.

Great product. I use it as a pre-filter to extend the life of expensive filters. Holds up very well to washing and reusing for a time or two if you want to expand its usefulness even further. Simply cut with household scissors.

I have a small pond and the filter catches and keeps both algae and debris. Filters need to be cleaned when they are dirty. I wash them with a garden hose. After 3-4 cleanings, the filter is worn out and needs to be replaced.

I have been using my own carrier since I have been planting aquariums. I don't want carbon in factory filters. I combine these first with a sponge, then with this (cut to size), then with a polishing cloth in my HOB filters. I can rinse it several times in a bucket of dirty water before replacing it with a new one. Big savings and a very good product!

Not even half an inch, and even left for a few hours to see if it is broken during transportation. Very thin and must be discarded after 1 use in the filter. On this thin one I had to double down. I'll have to change the description to say it's 1/4" thick (which I have) - maybe 1/2" thick on a good day. Would NOT buy again.

I can't judge how easy they are to clean because I haven't dealt with them yet. I probably won't clean them. I'll just buy new ones. I made my own biofilter for my home made 500 gallon carp pond. I was concerned that the amount would not be enough and I was right. My biofilter is a 50 gallon water barrel. Second bought and cheers! Doesn't matter! I'm excited!
