Difficult conditions! on Replacement Water Filter

My husband uses them in his shop and keeps asking me to buy more. This filters the water used on the surface grinder to filter out fine metal particles. They work!

Worked well in my AP102T filter

I use this filter as a hot water tank pre-filter as my old galvanized pipes tend to rust. This filter lasted 3 months before actually reducing the water flow. The original filter lasted 6 months with no noticeable reduction. I assume that's a too thin filter? I wasn't sure how well 5 microns would fit. I'll look for something a little more forgiving to avoid frequent changes (like the original, which I couldn't find exact copies of).

Ideal as a hot water filter. If you change this cartridge, you know that it works.

Excellent as a hot water filter element. If you use a hot water filter, make sure you use a hot water filter. I am using the Aqua Pure filter housing below. I hired a plumber to install everything, but I change the filters myself. -1&keywords=Aqua-Pure+SST2HBI Replace this filter element about every six months. I see it works. If you use a tankless water heater, you may need this type of filter. A flow heater can separate solids from water. This filter captures these particles.
