Good quality replacement under sink water filter

Arrived well packaged, quality seems very good. The filter is kept together and does not show the separation of the inline element. Seems to be working very well (recent well drilled shows lots of debris). Filters with good value for money.

Cons
  • Expensive

What's wrong with this picture?

Filters seem normal but if you look at the yellow one on the filter it's 1 micron and if you look at the yellow one on the box it's 5 micron. Why are there two different ratings on the packaging and the filter? I'm confused. I was contacted two days after the review and was assured it was 1 micro filter. The outer packaging was confusing. I installed it today and it works.

Cons
  • It was possible to go for a newer model

I tried six packs of 5 microns now I'm trying 1 micron

First of all the label on the six packs says 1 micron in the top text then the symbol in the lower left corner says 5 microns of the same label. Each individual filter label says 1 micron. They look exactly like the 5 micron string filters I used. But since I've had good luck with 5 micron filters, and since this particular item costs LESS than the ones correctly labeled, I decided to give it a try. Haven't used one yet, but whether it's 1 or 5 microns I expect to be satisfied. continue later.

Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Better than my longtime favorite 3P786

These filters are better than expected. They are wound tighter, more evenly, no protruding ends, no fluff, airtight. They seem about the same compared to my favorite, they lasted the prescribed 30 days, slightly cheaper. I will order more.

Cons
  • Socket required
