💧 AQUACREST Certified Replacement Filter for Aqua Pure WHCF SUFC Review

My previous filter was the Filtrete that came with the unit I bought from Lowes. Imagine how I felt when I wanted to change the filter only to find out they couldn't handle that filter anymore. Turns out their poor customer service turned out to be a godsend for me. This unit is the perfect replacement and I get two filters for the price of one from Lowes. I ended up buying a great filter at a great price.

I ordered several of these in early 2018. First I have to say they fit like a glove. No problem. The first worked great. It worked for me for 7 months with no problems. The second failed in less than a month. The fault was internal and prevented the water from flowing past the trickle. The price is right, but the product hits or misses. I wonder if my water is actually filtered. I will be using Filtrete parts from now on.

Matches my leak free filtration system. This is the time of year when the rivers begin to melt, take on a cloudy taste and smell, and extra chlorine is added to the water. The filter reduces both taste and smell. Since 3M seems to have discontinued my filters, I would have had to abandon the built-in system if they hadn't. Works as well or even better than the original, cheaper and extends the life of a deliberately outdated system. I love it!

Ideal replacement for the original 3US-AF01 filter. So far no leaks or low pressure issues and I can immediately say I replaced the worn out filter. So far, so good. As this is my first time buying and using this brand I will give it three stars and update it in a few months. Update 6.20.19 I have raised my rating to 5 stars. Works great after 3 months. Still ruins the taste of my city water. I like it, I will buy more.

For many years we have bought replacement filters for filters that have worked well. Switched to them as they were cheaper and our original filters were out of stock. It's not the same. They last from 2 weeks to a month. Our water consumption has not changed. After 2 weeks, cold water will become drop-shaped and the sink can no longer be used.
