Description of 🐠 AQUANEAT Sponge Filter: The Ultimate Quiet Aquarium Filter for Betta Fry Shrimp Tanks with Ceramic Media Balls

Sponge filter provide both mechanical and bio filtration, also, the air infusion chamber produces minute bubbles which increase the oxygen solubility. New Design: two media containers with ceramic ball inside ,you can also replace this ceramic media with other media. Easy to Set up & Clean: Simply install an airline and an air pump into the unit; Easy to clean, just rinse and squeeze in used aquarium water. Recommend Tank Size: Up to 20 gallon, excellent for small size fish like dwarf cichlid, guppy, killifish etc, or for hatcheries, shrimp tank, maternity tanks, betta tanks, and fry tanks, as the filter produces minimal current and has almost no way to suck the fish through the filter. Broken promises: Disappointing aquarium pump

According to my experience, this aquarium pump was a complete waste of money. I purchased it from Pet Supplies with high expectations, but it failed to live up to its promises. The pump was noisy, and it barely produced any airflow. Running it 24/7 didn't help - it just broke down after two weeks. The only good thing about it was its ceramic design, which made it look nice. But that doesn't justify the high price. I wouldn't recommend this pump to anyone.

Pros
  • Eliminates the need for multiple airstones
Cons
  • Potential damage to aquarium glass during installation

Better than filters, three times the price

Love it! Got the smaller size for my 10 gallon first and it was amazing! I have a bigger one for my 20s and it works so well! I will never buy a brewing filter again! This creates microbubbles from the sponge and surface movement at the top! This thing may be cheap but better than my $50 filters and I have 5 tanks and a lot of filters. All you need is an air pump and a hose. The stronger the pump, the harder it works. A++++++++++++

Pros
  • Dimensions: 4.5"L x 1.75"W x 7.5"H
Cons
  • Little things

Cheap, works well. Probably wouldn't recommend it.

I think if you want a sponge filter that also has some filling but don't need a box filter then technically this filter will serve your needs well. But it's cheaply made, it's prone to falling apart, it's difficult to install without at least one part slipping, and it generally doesn't have good suction. a little extra polishing with water. But if I could turn back time, I'd probably just order a plain sponge filter and throw away this prettier but impractical model. Although it's cheap.

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION AND CLEANING: Just install the air duct and air pump in the unit; Easy to clean, just rinse and squeeze the used water out of the aquarium
Cons
  • Modern
