Didn't work, first/second worked!

Air escapes before it hits the stone. I soaked it for two days and when I finally had time to add it to my aquarium I was very disappointed. Tried all air pressure ranges. Think I got a bad one. UPDATE: They sent me a replacement and this stone was not defective. This is exactly what I wanted in my pool! It's worth it if you want to use a fine to medium bubble bubble stone in your pool. With stone and great customer service, definitely a 5 star product.

Great product nice seller

OMG guys this bubble bar is amazing. The bubbles are so tiny and they come out evenly down the rod (based on other reviews I'm assuming this can only be achieved by soaking the rod before installing which I did!) I just wish it was longer than 6 inches for the main bladder rod. Plus it's everything I've ever wanted in a bubble curtain! Thank you for the cute random lucky coin in my package! It was cute and made me giggle. :)

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Far exceeded my expectations

Bought over a year ago and still working as good as the day I put it in the tank. It gives off a large number of small bubbles. I can't count the number of bubbles I've bought over the years. Most didn't work well. They either produce very few bubbles or they don't work for more than a few months. I've cleaned them, soaked them, etc. but couldn't get any of them to work properly. To be honest it's amazing. I will never buy another brand again.

Small bubbles and airflow

Produces the smallest bubbles I've ever seen. Smaller bubbles = larger surface area = more efficient ventilation. Evenly distributed over the length of the stick. I bought two and am using a 40-60 gallon Tetra 77854 Whisper Air Pump, 60 gallon which has two air outlets and a total airflow of 2.6L/min according to the Tetra website (cannot link to sites that do not belong to Revain). . In order to aerate an aquarium effectively, you need about 1 l/min of air flow per stick.

Looks great and oxygenates the water

This product makes beautiful bubbles. I hooked two of these up to a 100 gallon Tetra Whisperer and in the 6 months I've had it I've had no issues with uneven bubble release. You can also get bigger bubbles by digging the stick deeper into the gravel, this gives you endless possibilities for the visuals you can create in your tank. I haven't read the description but they are a bit short (I have 75 gallons) but they still work great, improving the look of my tank and oxygenating the water. I…

stick version. Forms very small bubbles. Videos added.

This is an overview of the stick version of this product. This bubbler really releases very small bubbles. When I wrote this post, it had only been in my aquarium for a day. Make sure you have a pump powerful enough to push the air out. I was able to get this bubbler to work with another long flexible hose bubbler at very low airflow with a full capacity 3-way valve regulator. When I use another bubbler with higher airflow than this microbubbler, it doesn't push air through. The stronger the…

Highly recommended! My fish love it. Swim back and forth!

Excellent! I love it! I soaked mine for 26 hours before putting them in the aquarium. I just put it in the gravel a bit to hold it in place and then turned on the pump. My pump is Uniclife UL25, delivers 2L/min and only works with this bar. I would recommend a more powerful air pump if you want to share the pressure. Personally I have 2 air pumps for each of my (2) 10 gallon tanks. One for the bar and one for the stone. I have a few fish in my tank and I need to boil/stir the water to keep the…

The Whisper 60 pump (4W) is not enough to power two of these aero rods

I bought two of these. The photos show a cool curtain of really scattered bubbles. I have a 4W Whisper 60 air pump that I have been using for years to create bubbles through three stones at once (4" ring stone + 6" ring stone + small air stone). I just wanted to replace these stones because they look ugly. I hooked up one of those new air diffuser sticks but was only able to get a small amount of air through it. When I connected them together (via a regulator) I couldn't get air through either.
