Aqueon Replacement Lamp Colormax Watt Review

Not very good. Very low light output. One didn't work at all. Do not buy. It's better to go to Lowes or Walmart and buy regular white bulbs. Absolute waste of money!

Don't buy it if you want to see your fish, buy a brighter light, it's not worth the money, it's too dim light Down the tank to light a day when it has been burned is bad

this light sucks I thought they would be cool so I bought 3 for all 3 aquariums, they are not very bright, the remotes don't work to turn on or off or change the Colors and yes I put batteries in and the suction cups have to be damn small, they keep coming off the damn glass, they don't suck well.

I received this bulb and it worked for 2 days, after which the transformer in my unit burned out. I can't prove it was caused by the bulb but the device was shot and I chose an LED block to replace my device so the bulb is now useless (and could work very well in another device). Just a disappointment.

I never thought I could be scammed buying a lightbulb, doesn't work at all! When it's on, it's pinkish-purple instead of white. After two days of use, it's already shimmering! I'm sending it back today and taking it to Petsmart! I also noticed that they keep increasing the price of the product. One comment said it was $5, I bought it for $10 and now it's $15. It's raised! Save yourself the headache and don't buy off this list

I don't know what's going on here. But I will send back the second lamp because of a defect. The first flickered purple and then went out completely, and the second glows very faintly purple and does not emit any light? I'm pretty confused. This is my worst purchase so far. Kudos to Revain for sending me a free replacement for the first one but it was nice just a disappointment because I got a bad product twice? I'll look elsewhere I think! This is not an Aqueon or the 15W equivalent Aqueon. Bought as a spare, recently changed a blown bulb. To my surprise, it was a random third-party All Glass Aquarium product that was marked and faded (image below). It's actually a lot brighter and dimmer than the existing bulbs, so I had to order a different bulb to have some consistency. This lamp arrived today, it was a genuine Aqueon product and works great. I have no idea where this fake came from and how it got to me. Be careful.
