Exterior half package only

Unsuitable equipment. Note that installing the canopy requires you to purchase all new hardware. Parentheses are fine. Equipment must be purchased.

Bolts and nuts do not match the awning trolley.

The kits themselves are very strong, but what can I do with a quick connect kit without the right nuts and bolts. I have an Arb Touring awning but the studs do not fit in the channel. So should I buy the nuts and bolts for the canopy or should I buy them separately on your site?

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Perfect for me for outdoor use

It was perfect for what I needed! I have. Jeep Wrangler TJ with roof rack. I was able to bolt the brackets to it using the double U bolts on each bracket. The awning is easy to remove as there are only 2 screws. The hardest part was aligning the 4 small screws, which isn't very difficult. We mainly use our tent on the beach, so it would be great to be able to put it down quickly in the winter. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Low repairability

Reinforced Caravan Parts & Accessories Brackets

I used these to mount a Tepui Canopy to my ARB Flat Rack and they worked great. These mounts are THICK so the canopy is damn strong. I wish they had a more secure nut than the standard hex nut. I have added a washer to each bolt to be inserted after the canopy is installed - this adds a bit more work when adding/removing the canopy but prevents the nut from stripping the powder coating when tightened. I also made some spacers to attach to the other side of the roof rack to align things after…

Very strong but not sure if finished or well designed

As it is designed for use with an ARB awning it definitely will not fit an ARB awning. The canopy manual recommends using all 6 screws in the canopy mounting slot. As you can see in the photo, there are two brackets with 4 holes each, which means you need 8 screws. I confirmed this with ARB and they recommended I go to a hardware store and buy two more screws. It would be nice if I didn't pay a high price for this mount! Anyway, I got two more screws and then found that the holes on the bracket
