Very good tool for little money

I bought this puller knowing I would only use it once. It was the cheapest puller listed. I was surprised that the quality was so was good and works perfectly very good value for money.

Pros
  • JAW EXTENSION: 6.5"
Cons
  • Quality

Almost worked. fits jaw puller

Attempting to remove the PS pulley. Tightened, became tighter, harder to untie. The end was too narrow and slipped through the hole. chamfering my pulley. I have used them before. Fairly cut/dry. I'm not sure why this end isn't a bit bigger.

Pros
  • ROTATING JAWS: 8 adjustable positions for inside and outside gripping.
Cons
  • Not bad

Normally I burn with cheapness, but not this time.

I used this to remove a wheel hub from my snapper rear axle. He's very rusty. In using this puller I have used heat, hammer blows and penetrating lubricant. It flexed a bit and I was concerned it wouldn't break when I finally attached a breaker to it. He resisted and achieved the hub's removal. For the money it cost it was worth it.

Pros
  • NO DAMAGE DISASSEMBLY – Removes slippery gears, pulleys and flywheels from the shaft without damaging equipment.
Cons
  • Nothing

For the price, try it and it was worth it!

I was a little wary of the low price but I was pleasantly surprised. I used it to remove a pulley from a motor shaft that I couldn't remove by hand or by prying. I heated the shaft and pulley with a flashlight and let them cool to get rid of any rust or corrosion inside. I put in a puller and used an impact wrench and he slowly but surely pulled it out. I put the bushing between the shaft and the bolt when the puller touched down and it was successful. The puller did not appear to be damaged…

Pros
  • CHROME PLATE: Easy to clean and reduces oil and grease build-up.
Cons
  • The list will be long.
