I bought this bag to carry my bible, journal and textbooks to church. Construction. It is very well made with eyelets around the cord and nice stitching. As you can see from the photos, I had a large leadership handbook, two journals, a religious book, and my Bible in a bag that had enough room for a cell phone, pens and markers, and a wallet. Would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a large bag or small tote.

Lace is not lace but is painted on the picture. The drawstring has to do with small leather loops that after a few uses will stretch and stop working. So you need to tie the string. It takes away the attraction. The straps only match the same small leather loop, so stand out a bit. But the wallet is a nice size and inside there are three separate compartments plus two pockets.

Nice bag. I got a few compliments on it and can keep it to myself. I only gave it 4 stars because the inner zip section is too big and bulky as other reviewers have commented. Therefore, it is difficult to find anything in it. It's annoying and I can try to figure it out. Otherwise I like the bag - it's denim, strong and durable, but feminine. Nice flat bottom so it stands on its own and is easy to carry. The size is perfect. Neutral color goes with everything.

I love the look of this bag and have been using it for a few months now. But the large inner zippered pocket in the middle is very annoying. It always seems to get in the way, making it difficult to find anything in the bag. Also, the inside zip pockets are too small - anything I put in there (e.g. cell phone, keys) falls out of these pockets. Finally, the little collar/tie holding the ropes together in the front is too loose. He doesn't hold the ropes at all. All in all I wouldn't buy this bag

Very nice and simple bag. Light weight and easy to carry. Fits in my large wallet on either side of the center zip compartment. A lot of my purses had that annoying zipper down the middle so I've gotten used to it, but I have to say it would be better if it was just open like the one compartment inside. But that's totally fine, and actually my goal is to have fewer things. my last purse had an old banana I forgot and lots and lots of random notepads and pens, so this lightweight tote is perfect
