I bought this for my son. That was his main cable, but it was never permanently attached to the headphones. Then he noticed that after a few months the two upper poles separated from the lower poles. He said it looked like a pretty strong cable until it happened. He sent me a photo which I have attached to this review.

This is a 3.5mm extension cord - all you need to know is its length and performance (as well as the fact that that it's 4-pin so you can carry headphones and microphone signals together) - that's all there is to it. The cable is very standard - it could have been braided a bit or a bit thicker, but it still works.

Quality and price is great, works well with my phone and the extra port in my car. Note, however, that the tip caps (the part you pick up when plugging or unplugging) are fairly small and sleek. Looks good, but on a few occasions I've had trouble unplugging the cord from my phone because it was difficult to grab the ends without tugging on the cord itself.

Works great. I have a LucidSound headset with a broken cable - the sound came and went and the microphone sometimes didn't work. It fitted perfectly and I haven't had any issues with my headset since. They were connected to multiple computers, a Dual Shock 4 and 3 phones (OnePlus 3, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser and iPhone 6) and worked great on each with no audio issues - input was clear and audio recording worked flawlessly.

At less than $10 THIS CABLE IS AWESOME! The sense of quality of the cable itself is reflected in everything. Even the 3.5mm jacks on the ends have a premium metal feel. They worked great with my trusty old PS3 version Turtle Beach XP400 Stealth (you think?). It replaces the Talkback OEM cable which is way better than THIS. I even have a slight click when I reconnect the cable to the headset and controller. Will definitely buy again, recommend everyone to buy now if you have turtle beach! 5/5

I was looking for a replacement cable for my HyperX Cloud Alpha headset and I really like it. The problem with the Cloud Alpha is that it requires a very thin cable connector to fit through a hole on the headset itself. Well luckily this cable fits and works well. It doesn't offer volume or mute functions, but it does have sound and a microphone. Well made cable. The body of this cable is made of nice, thick and flexible PVC. Due to the coiling of the cable, it will not rigidly adhere to any shape. It almost always lies straight when you want it. And the entire cable design screams premium. Finally, the actual ends are smaller than most other cables. The original cable was torn by a vacuum, Skullcandy claimed they didn't have enough spares to send me one so I bought a third party cable from Revain and called it a good one.
