Overall I am happy with this purchase. This was purchased to replace the Skullcandy SLYR headset cable. The original cable was torn by a vacuum, Skullcandy claimed they didn't have enough spares to send me one so I bought a third party cable from Revain and called it a good one. It worked great for many years, but eventually there was a brief gap in it. I decided to tie it up and keep going until I realized the mic line wasn't working. Still, I went with this one as the one I bought previously is no longer for sale here. Little did I know the one I had before was 6ft and this one was 5ft. I plug it into the back of my computer with an adapter to disconnect. I definitely noticed the shorter length as I often catch it with my hand or it gets snagged on something on my desk. It's a bit annoying, but it made it clear that the last one wasn't as long as I initially thought. He doesn't lose a star for that reason, it's my fault for not measuring. I have no problem with this cable other than the length. Yes, it's flimsy, but the cable that originally came with the headset was the same. Another replacement I received was thick in comparison, but that didn't protect it from shorts. The quality is what I expected, this is a good replacement for a gaming headset.
