Description of ๐ŸŒ€ ARCTIC Breeze Mobile - Mini USB Desktop Fan with Flexible Neck, Portable Desk Fan for Home & Office, Silent USB Fan, Fan Speed: 1700 RPM - White

EXTREMELY EFFICIENT: The Breeze Mobile has 92 mm fan blades and thus ensures reliable cooling and refreshment on hot summer days. Excellent cooling performance also on-the-go. VIRTUALLY SILENT: As the fan and the motor are adapted from ARCTIC's successful case, it works in total silence and offers an excellent airflow as well. LIGHT & HANDY: The portable USB fan with gooseneck is ideal for traveling. The simple plug & play assembly enables quick commissioning. FLEXIBLE ADJUSTABLE: The practical gooseneck allows a stepless adjustment of the preferred cooling direction. The rotation speed cannot be set manually. USB CONNECTION: The mobile Ventilator Breeze in white is connected directly to a USB port. The mini USB fan has a very low power consumption and is ideal for laptops, power banks, etc.

Victory for my class

Bought 24 for my class. My students use Chromebooks and plug this thing straight into the USB port, tilt it towards them, and there's enough airflow that you at least feel like you're cooling off. I had to stop them from sticking their fingers into the USB port. Blades they didn't cut. I warned them all to be careful with each one and they put it back in the storage box. The packaging is good for storage. The cord isn't very long, but it's definitely long enough to lay on a classroom table andโ€ฆ

It's amazing hence the 5 stars

For the price it's amazing hence the 5 stars. Love being outside but want a breeze on a hot day? The problem is solved! Two things to note (but that doesn't take away from the 5 star rating I don't think): - This works best for a laptop if your USB input is near the front of your computer. I have one, but my husband (whom I originally bought it for) doesn't. I feel a good strong wind, it's a little weaker because it's further away. - No on/off switch (which sure keeps costs down), but thatโ€ฆ

Very quiet, but low air flow.

This is a good fan for indoor use in calm air conditions. Outside it is easily overwhelmed by the slightest breeze. I was also hoping for better air circulation inside. Compared to other plug-in USB fans I have, it's a quiet whisper that can probably make enough noise to disturb someone in a quiet library sitting nearby. However, this fan is almost silent and will come in handy when you need to be with other people in a quiet environment. The blades are made of hard, inflexible plastic and feel

Fine. Edit: No longer works

The speed control potentiometer is very weak and loose. Better to have 1-2 speeds. The fan will stall if you don't plug it in at full speed. The range is terrible and only good for direct cooling. After 6 inches the air goes nowhere, no directed airflow. This is a common trait of computer geeks, not typical household geeks. Of course, Arctic can make computer fans, but not desktop or general-purpose fans. but the unnamed $4 USB fan is 10x better. More airflow and more noise = better. POT andโ€ฆ

Great fan - used to cool Surface Pro 4

I bought this to keep my Surface Pro 4 cool when I'm at home. It's long enough for me to bend to hit the back of my SP4 and direct the air where I want it and it holds the shape you bend very well. It's great at cooling my SP4 too, I angled it at a 45 degree angle to the back of the SP4 so it blows up and through my back. It's fairly quiet, with just a faint hum that's really unavoidable with any fan. The fan blades are plastic and surprisingly thick compared to what I was expecting. Honestlyโ€ฆ
