Holy thermal paste, Batman!

More than enough stuff for any standard games console/console/standard PC. Anyone complaining is most likely a proponent of getting as much performance as possible out of an overclock. In this case, I can understand wanting a few degrees cooler, but if you're overclocking that far, you definitely shouldn't rely solely on thermal paste to cool your rig. You need a high-end cooling system, maybe even liquid + liquid metal cooling. For the rest of us, this stuff runs a few degrees cooler than your

If you enjoy overclocking then this is probably not the ideal thermal compound and may not be the ideal thermal compound for your GPU. I'm always worried that thermal paste doesn't give a W/U rating. This is the scientific standard and purpose of the paste itself. It is obvious that you are cooler, that is also very important. You can see in the picture I may have tried several other thermal pads like Thermo Grizzly, IC Diamond, Corsair Noctua and IC Graphite thermal pads. There are basic do's…

Better than stock paste

A 4 year old Dell laptop has recently had problems with overheating, even on the fan panel, with all fans and cooling fins regularly dusted and cleaned. The processor was between idle and minimal load on the CPU and GPU in the 60-80s. Scraped off all factory paste and applied arctic paste and the laptop runs for 40-50 seconds. Even with 100% CPU load with Adobe, the 80s are hardly touched these days. Probably never needed a fan gasket, just better thermal paste.
