I bought this lunch box to take my c/o to the hospital. He's had 15 hour hospital days many times and this lunch box has a nice expander that opens and allows me to pack him a bunch of snacks. On a typical day, I'll pack him a bottle of water, a sandwich, and/or a box of tuna, fries, nuts, candy, and a banana, all in this bag where there's still room and it's still a regular-sized lunch box, but not Giant. I know this lunch bag stays cold for so long. My SO has a different version (Ultra) but it has the same dual ice pack inserts and all. He freezes all day and works outside. I needed a lunch bag while working indoors at a time when refrigeration may not be an option. So of course I took it for myself! Works, definitely keeps your food cold until lunchtime but don't expect it to be an all day fridge. Even with two ice packs, some of the items in my bag were barely colder than room temperature when I got home. the top and possibly the bottom of the lunch box when you use it. I have replaced my outdated Arctic Zone dining set with this new model. Good double ice wall introduction and excellent material assembly. Easy to clean and many carrying options. The expandable section makes it very easy to keep it compact or use it for more. Bought this for my 10 year old to take to school for lunch. I like that the ice packs have their own compartments so they don't melt on food. I also like how it stretches, although the folded size is too small to fit in his lunch (we use Tupperware instead of ziplock bags). I bought this cooler because I have a larger Titan and was very happy with its performance. I needed something smaller to take my breast milk with me on planes and trips and to express breast milk on the go. It's sad to say it didn't work.
