This jacket looks good and fits well. I also bought matching bibs. My grandson has an athletic not skinny build so I was concerned they might not be roomy enough but they are. The patterned part is a waterproof material (something like vinyl) that is good on the slopes. My son loves his jacket and has been wearing it every day for almost 2 months now. He is 8 years old but carries a 10/12 Husky. There are some signs of wear and we hope it lasts all winter.
