A Tool I Thought I Didn't Need

Ares 79000 is a great little tool to have in your inventory. I'm all for minimalism when it comes to driving. I have to think about compactness and this tool is perfect for me. The wrench is light but strong, and because it's adjustable, it can do multiple jobs. I don't have to carry multiple keys for what I need on the go. I'll check out the Ares line-up.

Pros
  • Wrench
Cons
  • Questionable Senior Purchase

The 4 inch version works great on the key ring

I wear the 4 inch version on the key ring that holds the keys to my house. I use it to adjust mirror and headlight nuts on my bike to 17mm when I'm going for a ride. It's better than crawling under the seat to get a set of tools. It's strong enough for the job, but not strong enough for heavy 17mm nuts. When using, pay attention to the correct tightening direction, so as not to spread the jaws. The direction is indicated on the key.

Pros
  • Adjustable keys
Cons
  • Expensive

He has trouble with adjustable wrenches

I really liked the size of this little wrench as it's perfect for carrying in my pocket at work. I need a wrench this size to adjust the machines at work. I started having problems almost immediately. In most cases, it was difficult to adjust the wrench head to fit snugly on the nuts. Then he got stuck in the nut, the wheel was firmly fixed. In just a few days of use, the head was badly scratched and damaged. I have used cheap wrenches from Walmart which have held up much better than this one…

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Big and bulky
