An ideal 3V+ power supply in an Argon ONE case

I bought an Argon ONE case and with a native 3A adapter it gave me constant low voltage errors even just sitting at the splash screen. This solved everything and will be my main power supply for all future RPi builds.

Pros
  • a handy thing
Cons
  • Some cons

No more undervoltage RPi 3 B+

I tried about 6 different 5V power supplies with ratings from 1.5A to 3A I tried several cables, even very short ones like this are like me I knew they worked fine but I kept getting low voltage warnings at some point during about 5-10 minutes of use. While I've never had any trouble starting my Pi this way, I wanted it to work as intended. So far so good with this power supply. Although I wish it had a power switch.

Pros
  • High support and durability scores from testers
Cons
  • Approximately

NO. MORE. LIGHTING BOLT

Ahh! after all. I tried a number of chargers, plugs and cables and finally settled on this one. I use 2 SDRs on my Pi and have found that even with 5V 2.5A USB chargers I get flashes when booting up or doing heavy tasks. I finally noticed that I had no problems booting. I also like that the plug is end mounted and narrow mounted so it fits into most plugs without overlap.

Pros
  • Looking good
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Works great on my Pi 3 B+

I am using this with a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. This is a high quality power supply. It is also UL listed. It depends on the quality of your power supply. Many people have problems with their Raspberry Pi due to bad power supplies.

Pros
  • Great pick
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

This power supply does not work with Raspberry Pi 4 (RPi 4)

This power supply has a micro USB connector as the name suggests. The Raspberry Pi 4 requires a USB-C connector to power it, so if you're looking for a power supply for the RPi 4, look for this *different* model on Revain: Argon ONE Raspberry Pi 4 USB Type C Cable Power Supply II just posting this for reference. I heard a rumor that someone bought the wrong model and was a little annoyed with themselves. Luckily they also have the RPi 3 so the purchase wasn't a total loss. ;-)

Pros
  • Quick-Change
Cons
  • Almost never

Robust box for your Pi

I have a Pi 3B+ and in the acrylic case it sometimes ran up to 50°C. It's still tolerable for the Pi, but I wanted it to be even cooler. This box is doing a great job and has yet to keep the fan running! My Pi is now running at around 36.5 degrees when idling and no more than 40 degrees under load. It's stylish and fits well on my desk as all ports now face the same direction. Kudos to the guys at Argon40 for this great design.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Small things

No more low power message after using this adapter

The adapter arrived on time, in good condition and works perfectly. My Raspberry Pi 3b is now a few years old and the included power supply has started showing low power on the Pi. Obviously the original wasn't designed for years of continuous use. I use my Pi as a small web server and database server for my home network so it works 24/7. From what I can see the Argon ONE is the perfect replacement. I really hope this power supply lasts for many years to come.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Best Raspberry Pi Power Supply

I use my 3B+ as a print server for my 3D printer and have switched from the stock 2.4A to another brand that has been promoting 3A and I always have the little lightning bolt in the seen in the upper corner. The Pi is not getting enough power for me. I rewired the external power switch with larger wiring and still does. nutritional problems. I've had this power supply for a few days and no power issues. The Pi works without complaining about the performance development. I will definitely buy…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not trendy
