Easy to install with basic carpentry knowledge. A good way to hide cables in the wall is with a wall-mounted TV. The only problem is that the installer has to be careful with the fire blocks, otherwise it will be a bit more difficult to install two, the top one and the bottom one.

When mounting the TV on the wall, I didn't pay attention to the fact that the cable connection protruded from the wall, which meant that the wall bracket couldn't break completely. This was a great solution to my problem. Worked great, put the front inwards so that the cable does not protrude. Problem solved. Good product.

Oddly enough, the two screw holes are different sizes, one slightly smaller than the other. I would have preferred the same size holes, but it works. The good thing is that it can be installed with an extension in or out. We installed inside. The pencil used does not provide a template to mark the inner hole and then cut out some more.

Ideal wall plate for wall mounted flat screen TVs. The hole is big enough to fit several large plugs and cables through the hole. ALSO it is designed so that the panel can be installed in any direction, inwards to the incoming cables or outwards to the outgoing cables. This item is really good! Exactly what I needed to run cables like ethernet, security cables, tv cables etc. Certainly better than just a hole in the wall. I didn't even know they made something like this until I looked it up on Revain! It's a durable plastic that will last a lifetime. There is no fluffy bullshit here. It comes with its own anchor and silver screws, but I went with my black drywall screws for simplicity as they are behind the entertainment center. I highly recommend this item.

Although I really only needed 5 pieces, it was cheaper to buy in bulk. While you're missing the mounting brackets, which I found for my particular project, I really didn't need them. Also, I like the fact that you can use both sides. Makes a clean impression and the price is unbeatable. Not the best looking but for what it does it works and it cleans the occasional holes I would have in my walls if I didn't have it. As a licensed AV installer, I use a lot of these plates. I like the fact that they can be used in four different ways, they are well made, paintable and cheap to buy in bulk. They are a real time saver when installed on the inside of a concrete exterior wall.
