Installed 3 of these. 2 in new locations and 1 in place of the existing externally installed box. super easy. There is everything you need. All you need is a cord and an outlet. Looks great and has a really clean profile on the siding. Good that the covers are interchangeable.

This open electrical box is just what I was looking for. This is a very clean, stylish and sleek design that I wanted for my outdoor entertaining space. I could only get chunky electrical boxes at big hardware stores. I am considering replacing all of my outdoor switch boxes with an Arlington outdoor switch box.

We used this on an existing vinyl siding to install an outlet for a landscape lighting transformer. Installation was pretty easy and simple. I deducted a star for "strength" because the outlet cover ripped before we could install it. Can't comment on waterproofing yet, but the box looks great and installation was easy.

Built a new house and decided to try these models instead of the typical composite versions at the local hardware store. It was easy to install, 3 installed in less than 5 minutes. A week later, electricians came to install outlets and fixtures. They spend about 10 minutes around them talking about how cool, simple and stylish they are. I definitely recommend them. Much simpler and more beautiful than standard outdoor sockets.

Used when living in my workshop. The old drawer lid looked shabby and I wanted something that would seal better than the standard outdoor drawer lid. This device actually REPLACES the control box. This is a massive outdoor socket for new construction. I used one as siding and put a Hardie Plank on top. It's far from the wall (even after the boards) but not far enough to be a problem. Looks great. I went to the store to buy regular ones and hated how bulky and clunky they looked. They would stick out so far and just look awful. I went to the Revain store and found these. The price is actually better than all the stuff you would have to buy in a store because you save yourself the hassle of buying a mounting plate and box and just buy it. These outlets are a lot better than the old fashioned metal outer covers or the giant yellowed waterproof box covers that I have replaced. Although sold as new build, if you are familiar with vinyl siding you can actually replace your existing J-Block with this box. I have used this box on both new builds and retrofits and will only use this box for outdoor sockets from now on. I was wondering why it shows this with two bezels.
