but don't be fooled, it's easy. It was a two hour project for .

I used this to install a ceiling fan in an existing ceiling. I wanted my ceiling fan to be mounted on a flat surface at the top of my vaulted ceiling and not on a slope. This worked great for me, but don't think it's easy. For me it was a two hour project. For my setup, I cut a box shape at the top of my ceiling, then climbed into the attic above the vaulted ceiling and built a 2x4 frame to tie to the trusses. I will add moldings around the box to complete the look. However, it is enough toโ€ฆ

Renovating / no loft access

I used this in an inventory/renovation case. There is no access to the attic above my vaulted ceiling. This is the roof. I wanted this project to be as non-invasive as possible. All I cared about was a flat surface for the box to sit on. and I found it with the box. I used the angel finder to find the angel. Transferred to a box. I cut out the desired angle with the oscillating tool. I have a popcorn ceiling so it's not very flat but I might scrape it off. I'll end up applying some caulk to the

Exactly what I needed

The product was exactly what I needed to complete my fan/light installation in the master bedroom. The room never had overhead lighting when it was built in the early 90's. Good old switch for turning on sockets for lamps. So, with the help of my electrician dad, we intercepted the first outlet on the line, bypassed the outlets at the switch, and routed the switch's signal up the wall to the ceiling. We have vaulted ceilings in our room so there is no access to the attic. We were able to mountโ€ฆ

Perfect Solution!: Electrical Boxes, Wiring and Fittings

This product worked well after I made some modifications to it. My blanket was already done. It took a lot of effort to make sure I cut the right size hole in the drywall. The block is perfectly square, which makes the task easier. If he had some kind of template, it would make life a little easier. The invisible back is completely open. I was concerned about this and didn't see any pictures or information to describe what it was like. Being completely open was just what I needed so it could be

Better than expected.

Installed in a room with a slightly sloped (probably 140 degree angle) ceiling. The room had wood paneling which I replaced with drywall and already had a ceiling fan/light hooked up to it. I wasn't sure whether to get this model or the FBX900 (also available from Revain). I started this and am glad I did because it was easier to install on a ceiling that already contained all the insulation. The previous owner created a large empty box that hung from the rafters with a 2x4 and panels and had a
