I just installed my cameras so I can't comment on their overall performance. Initializing the cameras was fairly easy, although the QR code wasn't immediately recognizable, but everything was fine after a factory reset. Alternatively, you can also buy directly from the Arlo website. I wasn't aware until I bought them that Arlo offers 1 year theft protection for your cameras unless you buy them through a third party like Revain. That thought would be worth it to me. I was surprised by theโ€ฆ

UPDATE: Image added. DO NOT BUY! Video quality sucks. Night vision sucks. The battery life sucks.

I bought these to replace my current Arlo cameras as they are quite old and have lost video quality. I had my new cameras for a day and already had to charge one of the batteries. Night vision is terrible. Maybe a headlight would be better, but I didn't have a headlight before and I don't want one now. I'm not trying to deter potential thieves, instead I try to film resident bears roaming around my yard. Judging by yesterday's video, I won't see anything unless I turn on the headlight. Theโ€ฆ

Overpriced and overrated rubbish.

I bought the Arlo Pro 4 multi-camera pack and really wanted to like it, mainly because of Revain's high rating. As it turns out, high ratings are completely misleading and fraudulent. The cameras are ready to use in 30 minutes. The video quality during the day is ok, but certainly not HD quality. The video quality at night is a total disaster and not worth a $200 camera. The video bitrate is 762 kbps, which is ridiculous as Arlo can call it, and the quality is HD. The motion detection sucks, no

It's not worth it.

The low rating is due to a few simple facts that Arlo overlooked or intentionally overlooked. First, it's wireless, but the battery needs to be charged. The system does not come with a separate charger, just a charging cable. This means that to charge the battery, you have to bring the camera - the entire camera - back inside to connect to the charger. Or you can plug the camera in directly if you're lucky enough to be close to an outside power outlet. However, for this you need to buy aโ€ฆ

Keep this in mind when creating your first Arlo account

The product itself is decent, but the software isn't very well written and Arlo's customer service is really incompetent. is not as easy as it might seem when using VPN services. It can't connect forever when my VPN is on. You'll have to find a workaround if you can't disable it. Secondly, the customer service is totally incompetent to solve any real problems. My first live chat experience is awful when their rep enters the chat and exits after a minute without saying anything. For real. And Iโ€ฆ
