CAMERA USERS WILL NOT RECORD AT NIGHT WITHOUT A GRAIN COLOR SUBSCRIPTION.

ARLO PRO 3 RECORDING FEATURE IS NOT FOUND TO BE DISABLED IF YOU CANNOT GET A SUBSCRIPTION. DAY COLOR OFF AND NIGHT COLOR GRAIN. WE CAN SHARE PICTURES WITH THE SHERIFF DEPARTMENT WITH ARLO PRO 2 THAT THE ARLO PRO 3 MISSED. AFTER 15 YEARS DREAMED TO WRITE A NEGATIVE REVIEW.

Terrible Experience

At first I really liked the product but my long experience of customer service may have been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Now after a firmware update or two the hardware stops working. The motion-based recordings don't work properly, I can't load the recordings into the library and the image resolution is very poor (definitely not the advertised 2K). The only consistent thing about Arlo is the poor customer service. If I could give zero stars I would.

Nice upgrade from Pro2

I have 2 Arlo Pro cameras and 2 Arlo Pro 2 cameras This Pro3 replaced Pro2 to cover more area with a wider lens angle and it's definitely a keeper. I'm not sure about the other reviewer who said you need the Smart Premier package to store your videos as I already had it and the camera integrated perfectly with my already installed Arlo ecosystem. There's a slight improvement in video quality over cellular data, but a definite improvement for your local Wi-Fi with the 2K live preview option over

Significant cost compared to previous versions

The biggest difference between the Pro 3 and Pro 2 is the lack of built-in video cloud storage. While the Pro 2 and its predecessors came with 7-day continuous cloud backup, the 3 doesn't include video cloud storage without a $120/year plan. It wouldn't be such a problem, but the local storage available through the base station/smarthub is pretty much useless. To access this local storage it needs to be removed from the base station/smarthub and viewed on a computer etc. There is also no option

where to start. Let's see they were easy to set up. But there are serious lags when using the camera view option during setup, so be prepared and calm down. If you put them where you want them, they tend to turn off when you don't need them. Leaves fly or fly fly, get ready for 30 alarms the day lightning or baby Jesus destroys the flysheet. Nothing. Nothing for 12 hours until I go outside. By the way, I have both a hub and a hard drive. So I go ahead like an idiot and subscribe 3 of my 5โ€ฆ

Great hardware, but lag and other issues render most features unusable

First of all, as a previous reviewer said, the hardware is great. The cameras produce sharp, clear images with very good color reproduction. Setup is quick and easy. The app is also easy to use and mostly intuitive. However, most of the advertised features are mediocre at best. Worst of all, there's a significant lag between when an event occurs and when you can actually see it, even if it's connected to the same network as the hub. There is a 10-30 second delay in live view (which can take aโ€ฆ
