If you use this around the house the smell can be a little overpowering so I vacuum every few times I use it and sprinkle it in a thin layer. I love the smell and it really does seem to help lift the dog's coat, although I have no idea how that's possible.

Worked wonders for our basement carpet. Our German Shepherd had intestinal problems and kept pooping on our basement carpet, it wasn't the usual dog poop smell, it was horrible. One round of this (let it sit for a while) and the stink is really gone. However, it does leave the product with a pretty strong taste, but it was WORLDWIDE better than poop!

I ordered this through Subscribe and Save. It really seems to help remove more dirt and pet hair. I also had a cat who found her litter box too uncomfortable and started peeing on the carpet. Finally she stopped. After a few thorough cleanings, the smell went away. It's much more effective than those other powders that just give the room a nice smell after vacuuming, and that's it.

Love this stuff, bought a ton and use it regularly. We had a room where our small dog and house cat suddenly developed a bad habit of peeing. Whenever we found a fresh stain, we would pour a large heap of this powder over it, and the powder would absorb almost all of the urine.
