Description of Armchair BRADEX HOME EGG CHAIR, 87 x 76.5 cm, upholstery: imitation leather, color: black

It is no coincidence that the outlines of the legendary Egg chair resemble eggshells: thanks to this unusual shape, you can comfortably relax, hiding from prying eyes, even in the most crowded room. That is why such chairs can often be found in the halls and recreation areas of public spaces. The high-quality replicas of the Egg armchair presented in our store are available in three upholstery options: cashmere, glossy and aged leather, and also have a backrest tilt adjustment mechanism. This allows you to fit it into any modern style - from neoclassical to grunge. In the middle of the twentieth century, the Egg chair made a splash in the world of designer furniture and still remains relevant. I am very upset and the product is no good.

When I made the purchase, there were no reviews of the chair available on the internet; so, I was forced to take a gamble, which is something that I deeply regret doing now. The chair, in general, provides the very unsettling impression that you have purchased a low-cost imitation made in China that is of very poor quality. The chair's overall design conveys the message that its purchaser is frugal and has purchased low-quality goods made in China. The seams are absolutely unsightly, and in…

Pros
  • Slightly more affordable than competing brands
Cons
  • 1. The angle of inclination can apparently be changed, as stated in the instruction manual. Nevertheless, the adjustment of the angle does not operate. If the handle is "pulled out" in the manner described in the instructions, then the option to detach the back of the chair will become available. However, because the handle is "inserted" back with only one position of the chair (horizontal), there is no way to "adjust the position of the chair, choosing a comfortable angle of inclination." This is because there is only one position of the chair. The handle is not "inserted" at any other "convenient" angles of inclination. The mechanism either does not work at all or does not function in a manner that is consistent with what is described in the instruction manual. 2. The chrome-plated portion of the handle showed clear indications of wear and tear on both sides in the form of significant scratches. In addition to that, there were traces of glue and foam rubber particles that were adhered to the scratched handle. 3. The inside half of the cloth, which is brown and clearly visible at the seam where the upholstery is sewn together, is a significantly different color from the graphite color of the chair.
