Aroma ARC-1000 is so much better

We loved our Aroma ARC-1000 so much that we bought it as a gift for my son-in-law's family. The stainless steel finish looked better in her kitchen than our white rice cooker. We should have taken a closer look at the picture because it has the same number of buttons but not the same functions. There is no fast rice function and it doesn't count down the last 9 minutes until the rice is ready. These are the two features we liked the most about our rice cooker. The rest is good rice. Great product, does its job well - pretty solid proof (is that really the last reviewer?)

Flavor makes solid rice cooker, all reviews are pretty good Board - this one is no different. It's very similar to some of the cheaper digital models but with more features. I'm not sure how the sensor logic (fuzzy logic) works, but the picture comes out perfect, no timer, don't worry about the accurate measurement. The brown rice was a real challenge and it came out phenomenal, not burnt or unevenly cooked - quite an achievement considering how long it takes to cook - I've never been able to…

Good Overall - Small Appliances

We have a rice cooker at home that we spent over $150 on. I've been away from home for several months on a business trip and wanted to find a rice cooker. I specifically wanted a rice cooker with a delay function so the rice would be ready when I was done. Pros: Inexpensive compared to rice cookers with similar characteristics.
