Good Overall - Small Appliances

We have a rice cooker at home that we spent over $150 on. I've been away from home for several months on a business trip and wanted to find a rice cooker. I specifically wanted a rice cooker with a delay function so the rice would be ready when I was done. Pros: Inexpensive compared to rice cookers with similar characteristics. The cheapest rice cooker with a delay function costs over 80 euros. This only costs $50. As far as I can tell the rice cooker works pretty well (I've eaten rice my whole life). Cons: Parts are not as good as some of the more expensive brands. For example: The cable is not retractable; The rice cooker doesn't have a paddle holder for rice, so you have to put it somewhere else; The paint on the plastic sticker that says 15 hours sticks to the rice cooker even after you remove the sticker (this should happen a lot - I don't know what their quality control people do). None of this affects the functions of the rice cooker. But it just seems that the manufacturer doesn't pay much attention to details. Overall it's good value for money. If you are looking for a rice cooker with a delay function and are not willing to spend a lot of money, I recommend this rice cooker. Those who pay attention to details and are easily annoyed by trouble can spend more money on buying a well-known brand. Regarding the reviewer for keeping rice warm for two days: No food should stay warm for two days - food will go bad no matter how good your rice cooker is. I usually keep extra cooked rice in the fridge and then cook it before eating.
