The ideal solution. good for exhaust and emissions

The bolt heads that came with my new headers were too big and I couldn't fit sockets or sockets on them. It worked. The 5/16 head is right next to the exhaust pipe.

Perfect fit for SBC plugs

They fit perfectly on my 1986 k10 which I have fitted new plugs to. A small hex is a must for the header and makes installation very easy. The screws are good price, simple packaging and now there are extra screws.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Having problems

Wiha Tool sells a 5/16 x 1/4 box that drives all 16 screws with an extra bend in the handle. The extended bolt length provides enough thread in the aluminum to prevent thread pulling, even with thick washers and 5/16" flanges. The only remaining problem is that the extra length sometimes makes it…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything's fine

Small heads are easy to access

I bought these for very tight spaces where a 3/8 size would fit but the wrench still had tight access. The screws appear to be of good quality and provide the extra key room I was hoping for. Disadvantages: (1) - Pay attention to their length. They are longer than the head bolts they replaced, which bothered me as I was afraid they would fail before tightening. They have arrived well for me. If you have thin manifold flanges, they may be too long. (2) - Because the screws are very long, when…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
