expensive but it keeps the heads in place

Definitely worth the money. It gives you a piece of mind. When the engine heads overheat or when a lot of pressure builds up in the cylinder. Heads can warp or break, or cap screws can stretch.

Pros
  • Engine parts
Cons
  • Not the best

ARP quality at a good price.

If the Duramax doesn't have them then they are needed. This is way better than factory screws. Enough has been said about that. They were hard to find through other channels at the time of purchase and I needed to get the buyer back on the road asap. Raven did it!

Pros
  • GM Duramax 6.6L LB7 / LLY / LBZ / LMM 2001 onwards
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Due to an external coolant leak I did head gaskets on my Duramax. Everything worked out great and the head bolts not only give security but also higher boost ability and higher resale value. Oh, and don't forget that while head screws are disposable, they are reusable. I only turn on about 500 hp. and 1000 ft.lb tq but it is well contained.

Pros
  • Black oxide finish
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
