🔌 DG950 Arris Gateway Review

I have to say everything works great, the wireless connection is top notch and works at a decent speed at the other end of our house considering the distance to it is around 40 feet. multiple walls. The cable modem works as promised and hasn't even had to be reset after a month of use. My old Linksys router had to be reset every day despite the latest firmware and many settings.

Works fine and passes speed test at 17/1.5 Mbps as promised. Just lit yesterday. The same model as the rented Suddenlink device pays for itself in 7 months!

I wasn't sure if I should buy something refurbished but it was a lot cheaper than new. I knew Revain supports their customers so it would be an easy return if that didn't work out. After consulting with my son who decided the refurbished one would work fine I bought it and had no problems. There were no installation instructions, but our ISP walked us through a simple setup and run.

I bought this modem and router so I wouldn't have to constantly pay Suddenlink for modem/router rentals. This is the exact device that Suddenlink rented me and it works great. I download 100 megabytes easily and don't have to pay an extra $10 a month. Excellent purchase!
