Very useful best in staplers and binders

I used this to sew 1/2 inch mesh from wood framing chicken coop hardware. It worked great once I knew how much force to use. It is not jam proof, but jams are easily cleared by loosening the screw that holds the staple holder. My goal isn't always the best, so I spent a lot of staples, but this tool is still better than my electric stapler, which doesn't insert the staples deep enough, or my manual stapler, which requires precise placement and is tiring.

DURABLE AND EASY TO USE

I am an elderly widow and needed a roof over a medium/large outdoor shelter I was building. The reason why I give my personal description is to show that this tool is so easy to use that anyone can handle it. Although there were no download instructions, a bit of common sense solved the problem. I have arthritis in my hands and this hammer stapler required very little effort and never jammed (more than I can tell for my electric stapler). An indispensable item for the home master.

Be careful with this

I wasted a lot of valuable time because this item comes with a bag of staples that don't fit in the clasp; this. The staples are 9/16" while the largest staples this gun can use are 1/2". Why would anyone attach a box of staples that don't fit in the stapler, I don't understand. Now I'm going to buy the right size staples, but I've lost a few days of productive work because of this problem. Do not buy. this item until you are told that the box of staples that came with the stapler will fit…

How did I live without it for so long?

After using this for a few weeks I wonder how I've survived without a hammer stapler for so long. In the past I have crawled on all fours with a construction stapler to hold landscape fabric together in the garden and greenhouse. Now I can do the same job in about 1/10th the time and my knees and wrists don't hurt. I have three sizes of staples that are used for a variety of tasks and all feed reliably. As a bonus, the hammer stapler can load two full staples, reducing the need to reload…

Ye olde Hammer Tacker

This is the "industry standard" in construction, at least where I've worked. My last stapler lasted 18 years and was still working when it was stolen. I've had this replacement for three years now and it worked just as well as the previous one. First, for those who can't figure out how to charge it - there's a clip on the bottom of the handle that you press down on, push slightly, then a spring pushes it out of the handle. Insert the shackle's clip (pointing in the right direction), then…
