Arrow Plastic 00030 Measuring 12 Ounce Review

I love this product because I can actually melt butter in the microwave without fear of it melting like last time. The thick handle makes it very durable and easy to handle!

Wth!? I bought this in April at the end of the month and it is mid June 2020 and as you can see the plastic is so scratched from use of a non cleaning sponge that you can barely read the measurements! I wish I had known this sooner but it's too late to go back.

The mug itself is great but it had two large labels. One label peeled off easily but the second stuck no matter what. I ended up using nail polish remover (according to Google) but washing it off scratched the mug and even removed some of the blue from the numbers. WHY do people do this?

Looks like cheap plastic but what do you expect. It works for what it's used for. I chose this one because it holds 1 1/2 cups, not just 1. Since many recipes call for 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 cups of something, it made sense to get one. Feels very cheap, but that's what the plastic looks like!

Just a small, cheap purchase as I used a 12 ounce measuring cup. Easy to pick up, I think it's enough if not abused. I don't know how the inscription on the mug will hold up. I don't plan to wash the dishwasher in my house and (due to what I use it for) I don't even clean it very often. It is what it is. Ideal for me.

Buy a measuring cup just to fill my one cup coffee maker. It was cheap, seems to hold up decently. I suspect that with regular use in the dishwasher the markings may disappear. I will update this review if this is applicable. However, when I use it for water on a daily basis, it doesn't wash as often as if I had used it for cooking and baking.

This is a plastic measuring cup, poorly made and similar to what you see at $1 Goodwill. There are rough spots and scratches all over the top rim of the mug. Poor quality product (distributed by an American company but made in China, you understand) and I am afraid it will not stand the test of time! Generally this mug works as it should. There is a mark on the side as in the description. However, I am disappointed with this for two reasons. First, you were careful when watering. The spout on this product is unusually small making it far more likely to spill than my other measuring cups. I've used it 5 times and every time I've spilled something, even when I thought of watering more carefully. My husband and mother-in-law said the same thing. Good size, functionally comfortable BUT be it temperature shock or other reasons, after just a few months of use mine is showing 100+ vertical cracks, most at about 2/3 the bowl height but some almost from top to bottom. Some of them can be seen in the photos, but due to their orientation, few of them can be seen in any particular orientation.
